Mr. Minderhoud is a qualified graduate in law from Leiden University of The Netherlands. He had started his banking career as Assistant Vice President of the Emerging Markets Investment Banking Department of Rotterdam Bank N.V. (1984-1990), followed by an appointment as Vice President Corporate Finance Central and Eastern Europe with the ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (1990-1994). Subsequently he was for ten years General Manager, Chairman of the Management Board of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Since retiring from the bank in May 2006, he works as financial advisor and independent consultant through his own company AKTE LLC based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, providing financial advisory services to various international organizations and local regional companies. In 2000 he was nominated Honorary Consul of The Netherlands to Uzbekistan, and Honorary Consul for The Kingdom of Belgium to Uzbekistan in 2012. In addition, he is currently Board Member of various Central Asian banking institutions.
