Assistance for sustainable Development
STEPP international is an italian, Ancona based non-profit private organization (NGO). It was created from the association of individual professionals with long experience in advanced training, skill formation & development cooperation. After having successfully worked together on various occasions, the Consortium members decided to join forces on a more permanent basis in response to the interdisciplinary nature of social and economic development and know-how exchange. One major focus of recent cooperation activities is on Myanmar (Burma) and Uzbekistan (Central Asia), both Countries characterized by great development needs especially in the educational and social field.
STEPP international can build on important know-how & experience gained from 30 years of international project work by its Members in following fields of activity and sectors:
- Scientific research cooperation;
- higher education & advanced training;
- transport & logistics;
- industry& engineering;
- civil rights;
- medical assistance.
STEPP international offers experience and know-how well suited to meet the requirements of project development and realization. The experience of the Group Members ranges from project identification and appraisal to project co-ordination and management, through scientific research co-operation. training program development and training activities, to the promotion of sustainable development solutions and human rights protection.
STEPP international is well prepared to act as a support centre for requests from the public and private sector. It is the aim of the Group to contribute to functional and sustainable social and economic development, by supporting

- higher education and promotion of international partnerships in the education field,
- protection of environment and habitat,
- human rights consolidation and social cohesion,
- medical training and assistance.
