Dr.Robin Chan, graduated surgeon, is member of STEPPinternational since 2012 and our antenna in the health sector of Myanmar. Currently his is again back in Myanmar, carrying out surgery at the Monks’ hospital aka Jivida Dana Sangha Hospital of Wachet (Sagaing) for the poor. He is involved in this caritative work already since eight years, thanks to generous, though limited finanical support from private sponsors. Reality is that there is much more to be done for the poor in this very impoverished hospital run by the monks,. Great need there would be for starting an endoscopic project (doing gastro and colonoscopies) to poor and needy patients in the above mentioned Hospital, but not only there.
